Our teachers use the Creative Curriculum to design an environment that includes learning centers such as Blocks, Dramatic Play, Art, Library, Math and Science, Sand and Water, Music and Movement, Cooking, Literacy and Computers. Children learn to understand the world around them through active involvement in the environment and hands-on activities. Children play outdoors daily on our two on-site outdoor play areas, and we take nature walks and exploration tours in the community.
We provide age-appropriate assessments for all children and, in partnership with parents, develop learning goals to help children progress. Staff plan daily experiences based on goals that will help prepare children for kindergarten.
We also support a unique Healthy Lifestyles curriculum, which focuses on the development of healthy routines and activities. Children learn the importance of proper nutrition, daily exercise and ways to sustain our environment by recycling, reducing and reusing.
